SLP Loud Mouth & Hooker headers

I'm having a high profile cam and Hooker headers installed on my 2000 WS6 next week. I already have SLP loudmouth and a 3" y pipe and I've read that the Hooker header and SLP loudmouth combination doesn't sound good. If that's true is it true with a beefier cam as well and no cats? The shop doing the work says it'll be fine but if I want I can replace the SLP with Magnaflow or something else to tone it down.

This clip kinda looks like that combo and it sounds OK to me.

I have jet hot headers, same as hooker design, along with ORY pipe and loudmouth 2 exhaust. sounds great in my opinion, however it is obnoxiously loud and most people just dont like the loudmouth with LT headers. It is not as deep and smooth of a tone as a setup like magnaflow but it just depends on what you want.

I had an average duration/low lift cam in mine with SLP LT's and the LM.

I ended up cutting off the loudmouth it sounded so bad.

I just installed my Pacesetters, ORY and LM2. I have driven the car a good 3 miles and am thinking I will need to replace the muffler already. It is cop magnet loud. Although it does sound mean.

Put a Borla XR-1 in place of the resonator (BorlaMouth) for $100. It cuts the rasp and drone down, but still sounds wicked. I originally welded a DynoMax bullet in there, but that did nothing...
