SLP LM I vs LM II
I know there are a ton of these threads around here, but whatever...
What's the difference between the two?
and
What do you mean by "raspiness"? My roommate has Midtubes, no cats, no mufflers and straightpipes out the side...I'm guessing that is the definition of raspiness, but I'm not sure...
My car has Pacesetter LTs and a ORY...

Raspy is normally caused mostly by the design of the y-pipe. Some are worse than others.
I don't have the sound clip of my LM1 with LT's up at the moment, but it REALLY lets you know what raspy is.
Since changed the entire set-up.
The reason the LM gets raspy is because there isn't much to tame it after the uneven air flow after the y-pipe.

Video quality is lower, but the sound should be okay.

The difference between the LM I and LM II is that the LM II has the ability to swap in a muffler in place of the resonator. On the LM I the resonator is welded in to the I pipe.
They both sound the same.
BTW that's an excellent Vid Mr. Lous
It should be made in to a Definition of Rasp Sticky.Craig
