SLP Dual Dual exhaust cat converters
Hello,
I have an '02 SS w/SLP Dual Dual exhaust option. Are the stock cat converters with that system considered Hi-flow or hi-performance converters? I'm going to go with the SLP headers and probably a Borla cat-back adjustable system, but I need to know if the cat cons or hi-perf. If not they get changed also. Also, has anyone reprogrammed their computer with the Diablo Predator and if so, how did the performance improve over stock? In other words was it worth the money? Thank you to whoever responds for your info and time. Have a great day.

for the love of god stay away from slp headers. if you want good headers get kooks. In the end they are about the same price but the kooks headers have way better clearance, not to mention they are much easier to install.

Yeah, thats what I'm hearing. And cost is a factor. If I had the money for brand new I would probably consider Kooks, but I was finding the SLP's online for about 1/2 price or a little cheaper, used. I found one set up that included the 3" Y for about $450. Thanks for the input, everything is greatly appreciated.

Like firehawk said, price is a lil high and also ground clearence is an issue with slp. Your cats are stock so there not high flow or anything like that. I would recommend gettin a professional tune too get the most out of your setup.
J2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

if money is an issue for you then I would suggest pacesetters or qtp headers. I know the pacesetters are like half the price of new slp or kooks headers and the clearance is much better then slp. Im not familiar with qtp headers but I know guys who use them and they are very happy with them.
