SLP Cold Air Kit or SLP Lid

Is it worth the extra money to get the entire SLP Cold Air Kit, with the smooth bellow, lid, and everything that comes with it, or should I just get the SLP lid?

I'd say most likely just the SLP Lid and then cut out the bottom of your stock air box. I really dont see much more of a gain in HP if you get the complete kit instead of just the lid, but I could be wrong.

I think the smooth bellow is a joke. 65 beans for a very short silicone hose. That's a damn rip off. I would buy a lid and a air filter and call it an intake.

no, there are FAR better cai kits than the slp one, the bellows does absolutely nothing, and the k&n filter isnt worth it. just get the lid and then a REAL cai kit like the ftra or ssra. go see this thread for more info about different cai kits http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48247

ditto two people i know have the cold air intake complete kit and wish they had saved their money. They both say its a noticable difference but not worth what they paid. I'm gonna go with the lid and and filter
