the K&N might gain you a few extra hp, but its not worth the price. A lid is a proven 10rwhp. Just get a lid and spend the $$ elsewhere.

I don't really care for the look of the K&N kit. not to mention I don't see how you can gain from it considering it incases the filter completely under the hood with no way of getting fresh clean cooler air. It blocks off underneath air from a free ram air mod. and unless you have a ram air hood, I would say it is a power robber not adder.

well if you do decide on any lid, in the future you can increase your lids air flow by added a fast toys ram air kit to add like 10-15 more HP. with the K a N you will just be stuck with having that w no ram air effect

He could always cut open the bottom of the box for the free ram air mod. And most def. get rid of the old box w/ baffles. I think it clutters the engine bay a little too much...LOL.

I got a ram air hood.....cut out the vents and cut out the bottom of my stock box then used some nuts to raise the bottom of the box up about an inch so the air will go directly into the box..

Midnight Blue- 1998 Camaro Z28 A4
I chose Volant's kit and love it dearly.

See I think that kit would be perfect for a Camaro but what about a WS-6? I bought my car and it already had a K&N filter in it so what should I do? Replace the lid and call it a day. I find it hard to believe that the lids gain 10 hp. The stock lid really doesn't look that restictive enough to warrant a gain like that. Anybody got any dyno #'s

Crytal Red Tint Coat- 2013 SS Camaro Covertible
I have had the K&N for a couple years. I have an open grille, so it pulls fresh air from the front.
Made 386 rwhp with an unlocked A4.
