    Should I buy a hooker or ....

Hey guys, I'm having trouble deciding which headers to get. I've narrowed it down to Hooker, Flowtech(made from the same factory as hooker), or pacesetter. I will be putting it with a Y-pipe. I will be getting ones with ceramic coating of course. What works the best and is the easiest to fit?

Hooker and Pacesetter were both great headers for me, I wouldn't recommend the Flowtechs though.

But hookers can give you unexpected 'gifts' that keep on giving...well, I guess a girlfriend can do that too.

    Go with Pacesetters.

I curretly have Hooker LTs and have been pretty happy with them. The coating is starting to flake off and allow surface rust down by the collectors tho...

Has anyone ever used the ls1 slp longtube headers? I've heard the horsepower gain is upwards of 41hp. Also I was curious about ground clearance on those too. Thanks everyone...

I have the Hookers on my car and have been very pleased thus far. Of course, the previous owner bought the non-coated ones and they are slowly starting to rust. When I replace them, I will probably go with the coated version of the exact same header.

hookers. eventually GF's become wifes, and they will cost way more in the long run. use saved cash for your car.
