servo Throttle body/intake/heads??

I am curious to see if anyone has performed a swap from a cable driven throttle body to an electric servo set up...

My idea is to upgrade my 99 LS1 with Newer LS6 parts - the scenerio is this: I am performing an LS swap with a G-body and I have to rewire everything anyway. The 99 LS1 that I have has approximately 50K on it. I have the opportunity to upgrade the heads, intake, ecu, and throttle body over to a newer styl LS6 set up -considering that I have a donar vehicle available for this upgrade, how bad of an issue is this going to be?

has anyone had any experience with this type of upgrade? if so what problems did you have? is it worth it?

Dont hold anything back on this one guys... I am a newbie in the LS world - gotta learn

IMO I'd stay with the cable driven Tb, more responsive and crisper feel to it.
plus the I know several poeple the have swapped from drive by wire to cable, but never the other way around.

yeah, I think i have come to the same conclusion. thanks for your thoughts... I will probably just stay with the cable system on the ls1 intake... might swap out for a ls6 or better top end later...
