seriously that would be KICKASS! and hey if the valve covers are clear you can see if one of the rockers are F-ed up! and ya spaz you can also see if you don't have oil pressure LOL

while looking cool, and a good idea for diagnosing....i dont think i would want it on my car.....and like spaz said.....i cannot see stuff staying clear for long......but it would be awesome to watch an engine at work like that.....any vidoes of it out there?>

I remember in tech school getting to see a video or something of SBC clear intake with "dyed" air going it and seeing how everything worked. Pretty cool. Probably the same crap.

The engine shown on the original link is a model. The picturess are almost identical except for the crank on the back of them. Apparently the guy that posted it in the other forum didn't know what he was talking about.

On the other hand. It is available for all to purchase right now for $49.95 from that site. It won't have any fluids, and can't go as fast as a real engine, but is still kinda cool.
