Get plug number 8 from the bottom
Some people remove the AIR tubes to gain access, some people remove the coil packs to gain access, i even read that some remove valve covers.
I personaly just remove the air tubes and get number 8 from the bottom, its gonna be pita and you will invent some new words but you will get them done.

+1 on inventing a new word, that #8 is a B**CH!!!! i just finished changing mine this morning. i didnt have a good way to get the car off the ground so i couldnt do #8 from the bottom like everyone was saying to do. i had to do it from the top, i took off the AIR pipe, the coil packs on the passenger side and that gave me enough room to get in there and change it. Installuniversity.com has a good write up on how to do this.

I found that a bent ratchet, 1/2" ext, and normal plug socket were the best thing. If you can't find the bent ratchet a flex head does nice also.

yeah i was going off the write up from installuniversity.com and i started removing the AIR pipe and got one of the 10mm bolts, the one closest to the front of the car off, then spend a good 30-45 mins and every curse word i know trying to get the second one off, the one closest to the coil packs, and no cigar. so finally i said F*ck it lets save it for a later date so i don't break something on my body or in my engine bay.

I removed the AIR and coil packs and just used a 3/4 wrench on the end of a regular spark plug socket last couple of times I did it.

Spark Plug socket with the smallest extension you can find. Its quite easy from the top if you remove the coils and Smog crap

Instead of buying a socket for 25 bucks, take an old socket ya got and just cut it inhalf and you will have what everyone is paying 25 bucks for...
I know personaly i got a handfull from incomplete sets lieing around.
