Replacing cats anyone used magna flow universal fit

I need to replace one of my cats so I figured it would be to do both and install cut outs. I've been looking online and the cheapest thing I found for Magna Flow was the universal fit cats. I was just wondering if anyone has used them and will the same one fit on both sides of the car. I'm not looking to spend a bunch on the cats since I'll have the cut outs on the car. I would cut the cats out but the car has to be able to pass emissions.

There gonna take some welding and pipe fab to do the install, the only problem with universal cat's is some people throw SES lights for cat inef. Some people have luck and then others dont, its kinda luck of the draw.

Thanks I'm not big on luck off the draw. It sounds like the potential headache isn't worth the couple off hundred dollars saved.

I can recommend thunderbolt's hi-flow cats on ebay. I've had them on mine for about 6 months now and I haven't gotten any lights. Plus they're only $30 each.

Well actually I take that back, for some reason from time to time (every 3-4 weeks) my SES light will come on for a couple days and then go away, it started happening once I got the cats but it's no biggie.
