it's really going to come down to your budget.....how much are you willing to spend on headers? Can't go wrong with the high dollar stainless headers but there are other options out there. I'm going on year 4 with my pacesetters and they still look great. My car isn't driven daily and hasn't seen rain in a few years.

talk about your abbreviations, pacesetter, hooker, for the mid range (pacesetter y-pipe sucks) kooks, american racing headers if you got the dough, and ebay headers if your cheap with very little complaints

coated for that price or just painted? Get the coated pacesetters....they'll last longer, look better longer, and keep underhood temps down. Look at the OBX stainless headers on ebay too....those can be had pretty cheap and I've read good things about them.

I bought a set of coated pacesetters and TSP off road y for about 500 from TSP don't know if they still have that deal or not. Then I saw the ebay stainless, mighty tempting . If I had to do it over again I'd give the ebay headers a shot. They are the most affordable stainless and cheaper than most coated long tubes.

I just put on my obx headers and y-pipe and I had a slp lm2 catback. Sounds thoatier and only $521 shipped to your door for stainless headers and y-pipe. No cats though. Loud at wide open thottle.

Mind spilling some details on which ebay headers? i've seen some pretty stainless ones on there for dirt cheap and it's so tempting but I just want to make sure theyre going to work well and fit well.

I would go with either a Pacesetter coated on the low end or a American Racing, Kooks on the high. I had a set of LPP headers installed this week by a specialty F-Body shop and they were a bear. The ones I listed above won't have the fitment problems, etc.
