Radiator swap.. is it hard to do???
I have a 99 trans am. The only problems I've had with this car have been cooling issues. At about 108,000 miles I had to replace the water pump. Now I have 124,000 miles and its leaking fluid again so I took it some where and they said I had a crack in the radiator. Soo my question is how hard is it to replace the radiator?? They told me that it would ADD on an additional hour and a half for labor because something to do with the a/c being hooked on to the radiator or something?

I haven't done one on a new f-body however I have done many on other old chevy's. They aren't bad at all. I don't know how much they will charge for labor however, If it were me, Tackle it yourself, Get a chiltons or heyes manual. they are good references. Might take a few hours but a case of beers and a buddy or two and you'll have a good time. + you'll get the satisfaction of doing it yourself.

Do it your self. It's not that hard. AC stuff doesn't have to be disconnected. Follow the instructions (parts concerning radiator removal) here. http://ls1howto.com/index.php?article=2
