    Question on coating

On ws6store.com a person has the option to pick between the ceramic coating and jet hot coating when buying Pacesetter headers. Which one is better? I know the jethot is inside and out. Is the ceramic the same?

    Thanks

Ceramic isn't inside and out, I've also seen alot of ceramic coated that are rusted pretty good, they seem to rust at the bends.. I would definately go with Jet Hot all the way.. Hope that helps!

I am totally sold on Jet Hot coating. Jet Hot is great at keeping heat inside the headers and the outside a fair amount cooler so you don't get as much heat in your engine bay. Ceramic is good but not quite as good as JH but it is less expensive normally. As far as do they coat the inside as well, you should just make sure to ask the shop you want to buy these from but normally I don't think ceramic is done on the inside but I might be wrong.

I am pretty sure JET Hot uses a ceramic coating.

I am more concerned with the under hood temperatures than I am with the look of the finish. Which one will do a better job keeping the temperatures down?

    Thanks
