This place has a good deal on Pacesetter's. That's what I run and I love them. Great fit and they dont hand down low. All you would have to do is buy the headers, which comes with a y-pipe and then find a "cat-back" system that you like and thats it, you full exhaust is complete

Look into Pacesetters like mentioned and then just pick the catback you desire.

Depends on what you want to spend...

On a budget, get yourself the pacesetters.
Have a little more to spend, go with ARH or Kooks.

thanks for the advice. now i just need to find where i can get a LS6 intake from. im putting my trans am up for the winter and i am hoping i have enough money to get an exhaust system put on and a new intake. if i am lucky i want to get a new cam. but if i do that is it a good thing or bad thing to change the gears in the rear diff?

Its not a bad thing to change them, but it also ok if you keep the stock gears too

isnt it that if you go past 4.0 for gears your just sucking up the gas? cause i heard from someone that going past 4.0 is just for the drag strip. is that true you think?

4.10/4.11 gearing will give you about 1MPG less on gas mileage. It is negligible and well worth the loss for what you gain.

Also, you have a 2001 WS6, you already should have the LS6 intake on it, unless someone swapped it.

All 2001-2002 have the LS6 from what I know.

I am not up to speed on the TA stuff, but I would assume so because only the Camaro SS came with it.

Autos came with a couple different options, but M6 should be 3.42. At least for the Camaro it was.

No. All M6 Camaro SS's came with 3.42 as I understand it.

    BTW - I have a 4.11 gear now

So being that it's an M6, I would go with 4.10's
