I have QTP's and I love them. Fit and finish is much better than the hooker headers I had. I have the QTP ory so i don't know if the TSP catted pipe will fit. QTP makes a catted ypipe but I'm not sure what the price difference is. But you can't go wrong with QTP headers, there stainless steel and polished so they won't rust and look great.

oh man if you're getting the QTP LT's get their ORY with them. The TSP Y-pipe sucks, its one of the worst. The QTP Y-pipe on the other hand is hands down the best one on the market! I'm taking out my Pacesetter ORY and replacing it with a QTP one this spring.
Pacesetter ORY by the way is the same Y-pipe as TSP except its two peice where as the TSP is three which is even worse.

I currently have the SLP Dual Cat/Exhaust with SLP Y-Pipe. I want to switch to the GMMG Chambered Exhaust with QTP LT's but still use the SLP Y-Pipe. Is this ok or what? Or should I go with the QTP Electric 3" cut...not sure how cats are added if I go this route though? Open for any ideas/suggestions.
This is a stock LS1; no major internal/external engine work, the previous owner only did the basic SLP add-ons. Check Sig. Thanks!Last edited by SS#337; 03-07-2009 at 08:37 AM.

I definaetely wouldn't call the QTP ory "the best". Not stainless and it's awefully big and fits poor. (at least the two people I know that had em complain of) That $689 + the money for the ory will prolly be close to a grand. I'd go American Racing headers myself. I'd use QTPs if I were gonna do a custom y or h but American Racing has the best y out there.

I think Shady knows better than me or you how budgeting works. Dude has college and kids!
Anyways I had QTP on my 02 WS6 with their ORY and SLP LM2 and it sounded like something chuck norris would drive. Great quality headers and when I buy my next WS6 at the end of this year I'll do the same set up.

If QTP makes a catted y-pipe I'd get that. It will fit like a glove.

QTP does make a catted y-pipe. I was going to get one but the ORY was cheaper and my car will pass OBD2 inspections after the o2 sensor delete and tune so I just go look for small garages that don't do the undercar visual inspection.
