QTP headers are a work of art!

I just recieved my set of QTP 1 3/4 "race" headers along with their dual cutout y pipe. First, I must say how happy I am with the headers. I haven't even begun to install them, but damn is all I can say. I have personally owned Hooker, SLP, and installed PPC headers before, and they can not even compare to the quality of my QTP headers! The welds are as good as they get, there is hardly any extra weld left inside the headers, and the polishing job is very nice as well. The y pipe does need a little more attention to detail, but overall it looks pretty good. My only complaint is that QTP forget to include the nuts, bolts, and caps for the cutouts as well as instructions, which they are taking care of. Other than that I am impressed with my new goodies.

Kooks and QTP are said to be VERY similiar in design.

These are my Kooks 1 7/8" vs. my old SLP LT's.

    In short....I agree!!!!

They should be a work of art for the price.

    They are.

I do not regret spending what I did for my Kooks. And I was on a limited budget.

Just wondering if you have them installed yet? I'm going with the same set up. I just can't decide if I want the dual cutouts in the Y-pipe or 1 cutout in the I-pipe.

I still haven't installed them yet. I'm waiting until I can find enough time to do a little porting on the headers and the y pipe especially. I'll probably just have a machine shop do it unless a sponsor wants to step up to the plate.
