    QTP Elec Cutout Question (wiring).

I mounted the switch in the ash tray. Is the little light in the ash tray (98 SS) enough to run the red wire? the directions state that it needs a 'switched 12 volt source'. I imagine I would have to activate my headlights in order for the toggle switch to power up, but that is ok.........

If it isn't - anyone know exaclty where I can find the proper source? I have no options, which means no traction control pink wire to use.

    Thank you

Been a few years since I installed mine. I extended the red wire and connected it to the radio fuse for (switched) power. My car doesn't have TCS, but has the pink wire behind the bezel, pretty sure it had power - doublecheck with a test lamp/meter.
