Posts for intake lid & elbow mods?

I just got a used SLP lid and I'm trying to locate the mods for the elbow & baffles. I've read them before, but searches for lid, baffle & intake bring up none of them. My short termgoal is to get everything upgraded upto the TB.

you can get a fernco hose from home depot or lowe's for just a couple bucks and make it work. It fits like crap and it helps if you put it in boiling water for a few minutes before putting it on so it's easier to work with but overall for $5 it works, I *think* it's a 3"x3" hose. I ran one for a couple of years then bought a "baker hose" which is a thinner silicone hose that's easier to work with and I could get it in red. If you go that far I would also look at getting the TB ported and polished and be done with the intake side altogether.

Thanks! What the hey are those boxes that straddle the airbox toward the back of them? I was asuming they're souns boxes, but didn't see them on a Z28. My next goal is a larger TB & intake so I'll wait on the polish and get some of the easier mods done.

you're talking about the baffles. You're correct. They're just for noise supression. The z you saw probably had an aftermarket lid on it which does away with those.
