ported throttle body new idle
alright so i bought a ported stock tb from a guy and my idle went up from 500rpm in gear to 700rpm in gear with the new tb is this becasue of the port or is there a way to adjust the idle on ls1s my car is a 99 this new tb came off a 98 trans am.

There is an adjustment screw on the side where the spring is. May bring it down and may not. Look around the plate and see if there are any gaps where it was ported. If so that could be the reason why.

Miles with it on the car?
Computer will take 50-80 miles (depending on conditions) to relearn the new airflow.
