    ported and polished stock throttle body... big difference??

    i just got it ported and polished... also buying the bypass too...

    you think a ported and polished stock t.b. is as good as say buying an aftermarket 78 or 80mm??

    It really depends.

    When my car was cammed (226/234 554/575 112) and I got the stock TB ported and polished....the computer certainly knew something was up.
    Took a while to adjust to it.
    I would assume it picked up a little power. Couldn't feel the 4-5 RWHP though.

    When i just had a lid and cutout i added a ported tb and i felt a pretty good gain in the upper RPM's. I doubt that i will ever buy and aftermarket TB unless i have to upgrade to a 90/90 setup in the future.

    i just recieved it in the mail... looks great, just has a little residue inside... what can i use to clean it??? maf cleaner? brakleen?? i dont know what to use.. please help thanks.
