    Popping and cutting out after header install?

    After I installed my Pacesetter LT's, the car cuts out and pops in the upper rpm's. It is fine with regular driving.
    anyone else had this problem?

    Is it throwing a SES yet? I dare say it is someything easy like an O2 sensor that did not get re connected all the way so your fuel mixture is getting messed up.

    Mine did it a few days after LT header install. Was due to my air/fuel ratio being pig rich. Would pop and backfire at random times... my a/f was 10:1 started feeling a hp loss too. Once I put it on the dyno and tuned it with a wideband all is good.

    Another thing to check is your spark plugs. Very common to crack an insulator installing LT's. I'd also make sure a wire didn't fall against the headers and get cooked. Like was previously stated, make sure your O2's are hooked up correctly. The fronts harness comes down right above the k member, make sure you didn't put the rears up front by mistake.

    yeah defintiley make sure u didnt put the rears up front, because its very easy to do. i did that but realized it right after i plugged them in.

    would it matter which o2's I put in or are you talking about where they hook up to the harness?

    I do have codes, but have not checked them yet. I took off the agr, so I know that is one of the codes.
