    Pacesetter LT ORY queston

I have the ceramic coated Pacesetter LT's and matching 3" ORY, that damn y-pipe rattles and makes more racket than anything I have ever seen. Have any of you guys that are running this y-pipe managed to get the rattling to stop? I've tried re-adjusting the pipe but the damn thing won't move so it's going to the muffler shop, I've had enough of this damn thing. I'm just trying to get away from using that clamp from Thunder racing or buying another y-pipe. Thanks

I used a TSP ORY because of the issues that PAcesetter has had in the past with their ORY. I thought they cleared it up but apparently not. Contact Texas Speed, they make an adjustable ORY.

Get the mufflex bump stop. It's $40 from thunder racing. I had cats welded into my pacesetter ORY because it was to loud so I just had them bend the pipe down a bit.

I bought the bump stop and got a shop to weld it straight to the car instead of using the rubber hanger things.

I just had mine fixed, the guy at Kar Kare muffler just re-adjusted the pipe so it's still tucked nice and neat but does not rattle. He tack welded the slip fit ends too so it wouldn't work it's way loose. Sounds good and no more rattle...

Just get a TSP y-pipe, they have it with cats and without. Unless you already have the slp of course. . .

Thats the thing... I already have the SLP Y and a MAgnaflow Catback. I am about to get the Pacesetters. I just need to know if I should get rid of the SLP and get the TSP or will they work with my current Y.
