Pacesetter header questions
How does everyone like them? Do you have to modify anything or cut anything to install them? Would they work good on a heads and cam nitrous setup? Where is the best place to purchase them ie cost? Thanks!

there prolly the best bang for the buck headers out there. From what iv heard installation is easy with the right tools, just take ur time. As for H/C yes they will work wonders. A good set of LT's are almost like an investment because theyll help with any other mod in the future. Youll defenatley need headers for the cam to breath and perform at its full potential. Try Jegs or Summit Racing im sure theyll have them

If you do get them, which would be awesome, buy a 10mm gear wrench. it will be your best friend for the header bolts, especially the back ones. You'll thank me later for that.

VERY easy install... only thing I had to do was tap in a little spot on the dr side firewall to clear the back of hte header.. then they popped in place. But I agree on the gear wrench... that very back one is a complete PITA!

I haven't done mine yet but by advise here I went out and got a real good 10mm gear wrench. Now if speed inc would only get the race style in stock

No I ordered mine from speed inc. they had free shipping plus a lower price so I ordered from them but they are out of stock on the race style headers. They should be in any day now though.

Mine are coated but I had a bad rattle after install and finally realized it was hitting the crossmember (i think thats what it was). It is fine now that i has been notched out, but I figure that leaves that part of the header unprotected from rust etc.
