    Pacesetter after installation question

I put the ceramic coated headers and y pipe on last weekend. There are a couple of things that are bothering me. There are several vibrations and I believe there are some clearance issues with the fuel tank and fuel lines. I know one vibration is coming from the passenger side on the tab that comes down and I think another is from the black cross bar. Anyone have similar problems? The y pipe runs close to the fuel lines and tank, maybe a half inch. Anyone know what the clearance should be because I dont want any problems with the fuel.

Your vibration issues are coming from the driver side y pipe hitting the floor board. Very common problem. Purchase a bumpstop or have an exhaust shop heat up the pipe and move it down so its clears the floor board. As far as you being concerned with it hittin your gas tank and fuel lines, umm your y pipe shouldnt be anywhere near the fuel tank. The only thing thats is near it is your i pipe but you didnt change it did you?

chances are its the y pipe banging.
have an exhaust shop heat up the pipe and bend it alittle, problem solved.

The y pipe is near fuel lines, as far as the fuel tank I was talking about the existing exhaust, it was not nearly as close before and now there is less than a half inch of clearance near the tank.

I know on my Pacesetters, one of the primaries on the passenger side sits on the bellhousing of the tranny and causes that to vibrate sometimes. I hear a few other things rub/hit every once in awhile when I'm driving.
