Oil Pan Alignment
Everything I read claims that oil pan alignment is critical. I am in the process of swapping the GTO pan, pick up, windage tray, dip stick tube etc. Any direction as how to do it properly.
Thanks, Mike.

it's critical because the oil ports from the filter go through the pan. so long as you leave the front and rear covers on, you'll be fine in putting it on and torquing them down.
if not, what i do is snug everything down lightly. this will help to center everything up. then torque the oil pan down first. next, do the covers. you can use the harmonic balancer to help in centering the front cover. the crankshaft will do most of the centering of the rear cover.
there is an alignment tool for the oil pan.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers
