oil pan advice, get in here!
I'm replacing my engine in my 98 SS with a 408 and I need some advice on the oil pan. I road race this car for fun a few times a year and after years of fun on this motor it finally gave up the ghost. I know that the stock oil pan isnt up to the task in road racing and may have contributed to the reasons for the engine going south. My question is what do you Pros out there suggest...new oil pan...who do you suggest for road racing, or should I modify my existing pan with a road race baffle in the bottom of the pan (i've seen someone make one). My budget is $400 so the Moroso brand is out unfortunately. Please help! Thanks a ton.

I just saw a thread on this subject not to long ago where someone on here that road races got a baffle and was extremely pleased with it. Not sure what baffle it was though.
