    Oil leak 2000 SS

So I finally found out where the oil leak is coming from. I used UV dye to trace the leak and looks like it's coming from just above the oil filter. I shined my UV light above that spot and its clean. Could it be the gasket above the filter that's attached with 2 bolts. That said it looks like a pain in the ass to get to with the drivers side cat in the way. Is this a common spot for an oil leak on the LS1?

Not too common but it can leak. Not too much a PITA but then again I have LT headers. Wait for an oil change to do.

See if you can tighten the bolts up, it may help till you can replace it.
