Oil Leak???
I got an oil leak that is coming from the top side of the engine block to the back of the intake manifold. I have been told it is the oil pressure meter seal that is leaking. Is this common, and to fix which way is best to attack it? Remove the intake or drop the tranny??? Any info would be appreciated, I'm tired of smelling burning oil.

Well upon changing the clutch I don't seem to remember seeing any sensor in that imediate area? However if you can get away with fixing this - don't know where it is I'd have to check my manual - by just taking the intake off go that route save you hours I'm sure. Unless you've dropped the transmission so many times you can do it blindfolded. Good luck

If that is what is truly leaking, then take off the intake manifold to get to it. That's much quicker & easier than dropping the trans.
