    oil filter

    im trying to help out my buddy with his camaro i am a jeep guy myself.. i have a question is there any larger oil filter that he can run that has a larger capacity...like for my jeep i can run the for 4.0 oil filter and it has 1.5 times the capacity of mine...any part number or help would be great??

    I don't recall the part number either but if memory serves, the longer filter will be the lowest hanging thing on the car.

    if its a street car / DD i dont reccomend it

    thanks alot il tell him to forget about the idea...i was trying to see if it would do some good but in that case nope dont want to chance it

    2000 Camaro Z28

    K&N HP2006. Hangs about 3/4" below oil pan. I would hit my headers before I hit the oil filter and I have never hit them. Use 6 quarts of oil with this filter and it is a daily driver.

    thanks alot will tell him that...i got the other oil filters that are the same as the k&n well not the same but equivlent...

    k&n-hp-2006 (already said by white)
