obx stainless steel headers?
obx stainless steal headers for a 01 ws6 are $500 are they worth it?

there are alot of happy owners of those headers

they are stainless but have mild steel flanges....so they are not completley stainless steel

so if im in the market for budget headers which would you guys recommend these obx`s w/ resonators or ceramic pacesetters & ory?both costs nearly the same $500-550

no..pacesetters & ory costs nearly the same as the obx & its resonator y-pipe.just curious which is the better buy

dude the #1 thing the obx's have over the pacecetters is they're STAINLESS STEEL, they will NEVER RUST, unlike the crappily coated pacecetters which will when the coating peels off in a few years.

i heard that they work well i dont have any experience with them though

I have them, theyre nice, real beefy and nice welds.

10-03-2007, 04:32 PM #152000 Arctic White trans am, ws6 hood, ws6 air box, slp lid, slp smooth bellows, slp loudmouth exhaust,shift kit, rebuilt trans, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, Shaner S3 p/p throttle body, and a tune . SFC. C6 ZO6 rims 18" in back 17" in front. Drilled and slotted rotors.

I have borla catback on my 00 trans am. What is the best header and y pipe combination that sounds the best? also another stupid question do you need to get a tune after the header install? thanks for the help, chris
