O2 simulators and SES light
After header and catted y with rear simulators were installed all was good. App 50 miles later the SES light comes on. Does this happen. I dont have time to go to the shop so till then should I assume the simulators just wont work or are defective. Searching posts says sometimes they work sometimes they dont. I cant accept that answer for $100. Any opinions or prior experiences?? Also why did it wait 50 miles to come on?

Is the code for a rear 02? If it's only one side try swapping them side to side and see if the code moves to the other bank. If you don't know the codes get it scanned, something else could be going on.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
As mentioned....verify that the SES light is on because of the rear O2's.
For $100...it is cheaper/easier to get those codes turned off via tuner.

So this is not common and the simulators pretty much always work?

Im waiting to get a complete tune and didnt want the ses light on thats the reason for the simulators. Could be a coincidence but car was fine, installed longtubes no cats and simulators and now I get A SES light. Sort of like putting 87 octane in by mistake and then when it pings wondering if its the gas or something else. Dont know at this point it just happened so until I am able to get to the shop Im just trying to get inside knowledge.
