Newbie lookin at upgrades on LS1

hey all LS1 gearheads,

Just bought my first LS1...a 2001 Firehawk.
Wanted to know what your recommendations would be as phase 1 bolt on mods? Lookin for feed back on your experiences to get best HP increases and performance improvements that are noticeable considering my starting point ..totally stock 01 Hawk with Bilstein.

CAI induction, longtube headers, O/R Y, catback, cooler thermo, gears, F.A.S.T. intake manifold, shift kit/short throw (depending on tranny).

Airlid, k&n filter, port & polish throttle body, catback, and longtube headers.

My Hawk has 6 speed manual trans.

All of the above and some SFC than get into a bigger cam

nitto 555r tires for the rear, aftermarket air lid, sub frame connectors, long tube headers and dyno tune.
stage two would be cam and heads.
stage three would be totally rebuilding the motor cas you threw a rod

What would sub frame connectors do for me?
I follow the rest of replys...any suggestions for muffler, maybe a loudmuth 2?

SFC strengthen the chassis, prevent flexing, and keep the car straight during launching.
As far as catbacks and mufflers, depends on what sound you want. Apparently, most people don't like the sound of LT's and LM2 combination. But check out www.ls1sounds.com for sound clips of different setups.
