    new weiand manifold?

Does anybody know about a weiand coming out with a new LS style manifold?
My friend told my they were a few month's ago and said it was worth waiting to get. I haven't seen anything on their web site and i really want to do the change before summer.
Thanks for any info or suggestions.

Yes, the Weiand Street Warrior was scheduled to be released mid-March. It looks like the release is a little behind. Unlike the older aluminum Weiand Lingenfelter intake (which is what I currently have on my car), this model is made from composite, similar to the LS6 intake. From a flow standpoint, they claim to outflow the Fast 90/90 down low and all the way up to around 6,400 rpm....hence making this a GREAT match for someone looking to build a streetable car with a TON of low end power.

I too am anxiously awaiting the release of this intake, however I'd definitely like to see some independent testing and dyno results before I jump on the bandwagon.

THANK YOU! I've been looking all over for some kind of info to back up what i was told of this manifold. With no luck i was startin to think he was full of crap. My tax return has a manifold and then some writen all over it, it's burnin a hole in my pocket.

Wish you knew a release date for it though.

yea it was supposed to be out in march, but oh well. I'm actually lookin at it too. Hopefully it won't be nearly as expensive as the fast 90 either, but with all of the flow benefits. Can't wait to see what it can produce?

Oh, and I think speedinc.com has them on their website, but just not available yet.

Wait a month or two, Ebay will be flooded with LS6 and FAST intakes! Weiand FTW!!! I hope it lives up to the hype.

Yeah, the price point was supposed to be quite attractive (significantly less than the FAST intake). If the numbers can consistently back up their claims, they might have come up with a real winner for the LSx platform!
