New ls6 intake
I just bought a Ls6 intake for my 2000 ws6. I have searched on here and ls1tech.com and ls1howto.com but am still not sure about something. Do I have to buy the plugs and other hose to swap them or is there a way that I can just use what I have and not have to buy anything but the intake. Please help as I want the intake on soon

You do not have to buy the new plugs and crossover. All you need is a small pipe cutter and you can use what you currently have. You will need some kind of silicone to plug the piping with as well. Take the existing lines, cut the 2 plugs off for the rear and seal them with a silicant. You can take the front of the piping and cut it as well. You just need the piping to cross from the driver head to the passenger head. You will have to use a silicant to seal the back part you cut off. I would post a picture if I had one, but its pretty easy to figure out. Save yourself the $40.

Yep, you do not need to buy the LS6 steam pipes.
I ground down the plastic ribs where the steam pipe would contact the intake.
