new exhaust system put on

i went the cheap expensive route. i went to the exhaust shop and was gonna get a magnaflow catback put on. the guy said they dont normally deal with mag. so they didnt have any on hand, but he said he had a cheaper solution that would make me happy. 180.00 for a flowmaster put in place of the stocker. but i hated the stock tips(those square ones) so i got them to put on quad round tips like the expensive magnaflow tips. all in all 350.00. i know hooker runs for that, but whatever.

i have heard some BAD thing about flowmaster on here. i got an 80 series and i LOVE it. i mean HOLY CRAP. it is DEEP and throaty, with no rasp at all and at idle(for near cops) is almost silent. WOT is wicked. when coming down off WOT there is an awesome popping noise that sounds like my harley davidson. ill get sound clips and pics soon.

thats just my experience with flowmaster.

flows sound great...its the flowing that suck.

you should of gotten the texas speed cat back its really deap with no rasp for 200

you should have at least tried open exhaust from the cat back to duals. i wish i had recorded a sound clip of it before i got the headers and cam put in. it had one of the best sounds i've heard stock and i had many compliments. it was mild at idle but when you get on it it really got throaty.
