need help with headers

after i installed mac long tube headers on my 2002 trans am i get a lot of jerking back and fourth at full or sometimes half way throtle what should i do

you mean as in the car hesitates, specify whether you have a manual or auto, and the description of the problem is vague

yes it hesitates a lot the car is manual

on any gear the car hesitates when the throttle is opened more than half way when driving down the road

you need a tune.

i had the same problem after my header install, i changed the spark plugs and put in 2 new o2 sensors, it solved the problem, you should also get a tune, but its not crucial headers dont exceed the parameters on the factory ecu, very rarely will you need a tune after the header install,
