Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
Need Help With Custom Coolant Application
Building a LS2/T56 Shelby Cobra replica. You may have seen the thread in AAG. Maybe not.
Searched for a while on Tech and now Tech seems DOA if I try to post anything new; not sure if this will work but need some input.
As you can see, on the cold side of the radiator, there's a nipple.
Can I use that nipple to mate up with the steam crossover in this manner?
I'd use a filler neck as shown with a bleeder line to a fill tank.
Is that a proper design or am I way off-base?
You can see the water pump output here, definitely above the radiator.

Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
Revised my thoughts arleady. What if I used an expansion tank like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CT...0/?image=large
in a set up like this
All I would need is a neck with two outputs on it. Jags That Run make them for LS swaps. One outlet would go to the overflow. The second would go to the steam crossover.
