need help baddd
i just put on my ported trottle body and now the car is idleing at 2500 rpm and wont come down, did i put a senser on backwards or what i have no idea what to do. need help plz

check your tps ..make sure its in all the way..secondly...make sure the blade is closed all the way..did you port/polish it yourself ?

also are there any SES codes are anything of that nature...if not try uninstalling the TB and reinstall it..paying careful attention to the sensors.

could be the tps. could be the idle air control valve too. when mine went out on my v6 went out it idled at around 2500 or 3000. there could posability be a gap between the blade and the side.

help
i didint do it my self when its running with the lid off the blade is all the way closed looks like all the air is getting sucked in by the two holes at the top

i got it txs i cleaned the carbon off the sensor and put a litting vasline on the washer and its all good txs guys

did you take off or replace the gasket between the throttle body and intake? you're definitely getting air in somewhere for the car to be around 2000rpms at idle. Do the blade screws have washers around them? I've heard after doing a port and polish and half shaft (dunno if you had that done) that you have to put washers under the screws to make up for where the blade was cut.

he fixed it already..had a junked up TPS
