muffler

i want a quiet muffler(i have a cutout for when i want it load), i have a flowmaster now. i also want to get rid of my tips, i am thinking about a single in and out 3in with a turn down mounted in the location. any suggestions on a good quiet muffler?

Magnaflow is pretty quiet and deep with no rasp. With the cut out open it wont be as loud as you are now with the flowmasters. Im in the same situation, i had a 93Z with magnaflow catback and cut out with shorty headers no cats i thought it was loud. Now i have a 94Z with flowmaster, no cats and exhuast cut out and its definitly louder then my 93Z. I have to admit i did not like my magnaflow exhuast note with the cut out closed, kinda sounded like a modded V6 dont ask me why im sure it just sounded that way from the inside of the car or just to me.

Magnaflow. Last year I went flowmaster>magnaflow catback and it was much quieter, and sounded better too (quality of sound), deep and mellow until you get on it. They sell single in/out standalone mufflers too
