MSD Coil Packs / Underdrive Pulley

    Hello friends,

I am considering picking these 2 items up, install would be cost free.
With the MSD packs running around $600-ish & a "good" pulley set ranging around $2-300, would these mods really be worth the money spent?

Vehicle is a highway DD A4, mods listed in sig.
    Thanks for the input.

Take a look at this thread on the coils.

I vote yes on the underdrive the coils not so much. You do have a good list of mods so theres not alot left to do. You could do a stall instead you will easily gain more from a good stall than the coils.

what kind of numbers your making

I don't don't know what kind of numbers your making but wouldn't make that much of a difference IMO. It would however but the external finishing touches on in respect to bolt-ons.

I am very inexperienced when it comes to stalls, heard that it's best to aim for a 3000+,
but would something like that be ideal for a Highway DD A4?

No numbers posted for my car because it has not been tuned yet.
Just had a new crate engine installed so I am waiting about 4500 miles.

i think that the coils are overpriced. you could get a stall for cheaper and if you install it yourself it would be that much better. you would get more performance out of the stall IMO

I'm not going to lie I don't have alot of experience with stall's for these cars since my car is an M6. I've ran them in other cars but no experience with them in ls1's. Check out the auto tranny section and ask around there about what stall would be good for your setup.
