more power w/o the LID ?
well i seen some "race cars with just a TB for the induction. is there that much of gain of HP?
and at the track would removing my air filter help out any?
not sure if i ll do any of these but just really curiouis....

In theory yes you should gain Hp since there less restritcion you may see 1 or 2 hp but that about it. It not a good idea to do alot but if you really want to give it a shot for a pass or two you should be alright.

yes you gain a little power, but its not worth losing an engine over.
when i dynoed bone stock i did 1 run with it off and got 4 more hp and 8 more tq

thanks , almost positive i wont do this but just wanted to know.
i tried it on my winter car just to see if there was the problem for 1 out of 100 on that car and didnt seem to add on that

Never a good idea to let the engine suck in unfiltered air though.

I dynoed a Fram vs. K&N vs. no filter at all and the differences were between 0-2rwhp. Not worth it to me...
