    Mods installed finally

Well I finally got my LT's, ORY, magnaflow, lid, ls6 manifold and NGK plugs installed this week. Also ditched the EGR/AIR crap so it looks a lot cleaner now. The car sounds awsome! I have a few more mods to install next week then I'll be on my way to get it tuned. I want to drive my car all the time now....looking for excuses to drive...lol. Anyone else feel that way after getting some mods put in?

I've been known to just start mine in the driveway and sit in it for a few minutes.

Hey U have a 2000 z28 also, How did you get rid of the egr? did you block it or take it off, if so can you do it on your own and does the car need a programmer so the computer does not freak out

I took the egr out completely but it is throwing an egr code so I plan on getting that deleted once I get it tuned.

Heh I start mine too and do walkarounds to hear the sounds, just like a youtube "I just installed my sweet exhaust" video

I know the feeling... You better see if you can start paying your speed shop via direct deposit... this is gonna get expensive for you

Yikes John! It might be worthwhile for me to drive to MD just to go to your speed shop! HAHA!

Congrats on the mods....now the fun begins. I thought I was completely done after a few bolt ons and a simple cam swap.....I thought wrong! It's a disease for which there is only one real cure.....more horsepower!
2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.

Yeah the mechanic actually has his own shop at his house....you could fit two 18 wheelers in side by side...it's huge...lol. You are right though, there definitely isn't a cure for the horsepower junkie! I should try to get some pics up cause I know this thread is worthless without them....lol

Wow, $300 for the install of everything you listed?? I really might drive to Maryland for that. I'm in South Jersey, it'd be worth the drive!!

if I wouldn't be afraid of exhaust kilg me i'd sit in the garage all day and night with the door closed reving it then letting it idle, then reving it again.... wait i have done that and it didn't kill me yet. The best time was after i put the long tubes and fired it up open headers. lol when i reved it the car got a thich layer of dust and dirt it from the vibration knocking everything off the walls and ceiling

I just did about the same and it feels great. What other mods are you doing before the tune?
