hey guys, just opened this thread so we all could share what has been the max hp on bolt ons. Please post your mods with hp# and 1/4 or 1/8 mile time if posible. this will help us know what to expect from diferent combinations of bolt ons. thanks for anwering my questions and for partisipating in this thread?

every car responds differently to the same mods that might happen to be installed on another car. that said, MAX/PEAK HP #'s would vary so greatly that attempting to find the MAX/PEAK HP gain from any mod or combinations of mods would be futile. two cars could have the exact same mods and one could be an M6 the other an A4 and one would lower HP #'s because of the simple difference in drivetrain...
also, it doesnt matter the amount of HP you have in relation to ones 1/8mi or 1/4mi times. again too many variables that would have to be taken into consideration (driver, car, race weight, track conditions, launch RPM, tires, etc). to put into perspective how would you like to have a 450rwhp car and only be able to break into the 12's, while a car with 380rwhp is almost breaking in the 11's w/fewer mods done...
the point of all this is to make everyone realize that you should never get caught up in MAX/PEAK HP #'s, since all the claims/misinformation of MAX HP from bolt ons has disappointed way more than people than perhaps the rare few that might be the exception. sure dyno sheets are great to look at, but in the end, whatever mods/bolt-ons you have done to your car only matters once you see your timeslip. after all thats what shuts people up...2018 CTS-V: °°668rwhp/658rwtq°°

thanks for the post (it is good to be corrected by people that know what they are talking about). I just wanted to see what peoples #'s were so we could all compare and see how well or how bad our cars and our driving were. (for example: two camaro ss m6 with same mods). I know that there are more variables that interfere but we could get at least a general idea. Once again, thanks for the post and ony opinion is welcome

With every freakin' bolt-on in the world including CF driveshaft and EWP the highest dyno I would expect would be around 365rwhp. With a crazy tune and some dyno tricks, I could see 370+rwhp happening if all the stars were aligned...

I would be happy with even 60 hp gain with these mods and still maintain my cats, that would be great.

ls6 intake and using 78mm TB ported say 8rhwp gain, Fast 90 and 90 tb I give 15-20rwhp gain for the combo. well SSwt00SS ported his Fast 90 (good move btw) and go 20rwhp out of his Fast90/90 combo when he retuned.

I am thinking exhaust and cam first, then intake. I will let ya know as I go.
All I have is my g-tech for recording hp, but If I get a good baseline first, then hopefully I will be able to accurately track the changes.

long tube headers, then tune spark to more aggresive and tune fuel to higher octane- 45hp and draw fuel air ratio screen up and pull fuel back slightly cause your car should be running rich.

actually i gained 35rwhp with the install and retune of the ported FAST90/90 that is now on my car...
if that's not believable, then i have another dyno sheet that shows me going from 408 to 438rwhp (30rwhp) if youd rather see that one...
to be within 5rwhp/5rwtq of two well known area shops on independent dynos proves the gains are not BS...
with all the mods i have done to my car (stock bottom end still), i have gained 119rwhp/65rwtq, respectively...
