    MAC ory pipe

    is a mac off road y pipe any good I'm trying to find out what a good y pipe is can anyone help me? thanks

    I had a MAC ORY on my old '99 Z28 as far as quality it's a good y-pipe but.....I can't really say it helped my car all that much...made it much louder but sometimes that's not a good thing (got a ticket not even a week later).....in the 1/4 mile my car picked up about 1-1.5 MPH on top end but the same ET's. I will not be putting a ORY on this car I'm trying to save up and purchase some LT headers this summer I'll most likely put a cat'd Y on this car.

    I am planning on getting lt's but right now I can't afford them so I just ordered the y pipe for now I had a mac exhaust before on my 94 z28 and it seemed like it was good quality I just wanted someone else's imput. thanks nick
