BURGANDY- 01 CAMARO COVERTIBLE Z28
Lt + Ory + Electric Cutout + Stock Muffler?
Just ordered some pace setter lt and ory. My question is can I still use the stock 2001 z28 mufller? Im trying to keep it as quite as possible for the law. Im going to add an electic cut out for when i want to really fire things up. Will this set up work? Thanks for your help.

yeah it'll work. That cut out will make things much louder when you want/need them to be. I have one on mine and I love it.

That setup will work quite well. I replaced the stock exhaust with a Flowmaster catback and then went with the same setup (LT's, ORY and electric cutout). With the cutout open it is very loud, however with the cutout closed it is quite civilized.
If you decide to do a cam swap in the future, you'll probably love the open cutout setup....gives off a classic late 60's big block sound!2002 Camaro SS M6, 2.5 PRC 5.3L heads, TFS 228/230 cam, FAST 92, bolt ons + a 10 lb bottle in the back.
1989 Corvette L98, A4, Full bolt ons, etc.

yeah I got the 224/224 .581/.581 112 lsa cam when I got my dmh 3" elec-cutout, and I loved it. It sounded tough when it was open, and stock with a slight lope when closed.
