if your not worried about price why not go for the FAST 90/90 combo??
anyways yes it will make a difference and yes it is worth it. anyway to flow more air when getting a cam is really worth it

oh and the throttle bodys are about the same price.. so your looking at only 100$ more for a much better setup...

Ported, the FAST 78 will make about 5 - 10 hp less than the 90. You need a new throttle body for the 90 so add that to the cost.

well with the FAST 78mm then you SHOULD get the throttle body as well, which is why i stated that its only about an extra hundred. Also VERY well worth the money for the gains

I currently have a ported tb also and was curious how much better a fast 78mm would be if at all I would think it would have minimal gains on a ported stocker.

i was wantin the 78 cause i really didnt want a $400 tb when my stock one is ported and will bolt up to the 78 lsx

ive seen where the 78 lsx out flows the ls6 manifold and looks cool.... i think i will take the extra $400 from gettin the 90/90 and get the underdrive pully

understandable however.... if you get the 90/90 combo nowyou will see mroe of a gain than with that underdrive pulley without sacrificing accessories and can still get the underdrive pulley later without any money wasted. if you decided to do bigger on the manifold later then you would have wasted the cash on the 78mm

Ohh and BTW the LS2 90mm manifold will bolt up to LS1 and go cheap on ebay (about 250$) so with that and a 90mm throttle body you are looking at around the same price as the 78mm manifold

I saw a comparison a while back and the ls2 intake didn't perform well on the ls1. I still feel that unless you're doing big cubes or forced induction the LS6 is the best bang for the buck intake out there.

im not argueing that a LS6 manifold isnt a good mod, hell ive got one I have just been wanting to do a 90/90 for some time now because it will support just bolt on applications to balls to the wall blown apps. I never saw that comparison though.. did they say why it wasnt good on LS1? good thing to know!

True, the LS2 intake is a downgrade. Don't need big cubes for a FAST, the 90/90 properly ported is giving even bolt on cars 20+hp.
