    LS6 Intake Manifolds

Just to let you know, SLP is selling new LS6 intakes for around $375 new. So before you drop the same price, a little less or a little more on ebay for a used one check out SLP.

They were too high on ebay from the start only because idiots would pay that much for a used intake manifold.

$375 new? Do you have a link? Thats cheaper than Summit's price and they buy in bulk, so thats odd...

    SLP is weird like that.

Most of their stuff is way overrpriced, but once in a while they'll have a good deal on certain things, like the LS6 manifold.

Yeah, u got a good point. What the hell is that piece. It's almost like they took an Ls1 manifold and pluged up the EGR.

the retards probably just put the wrong picture. Im sure the manifold is a genuine new LS6 with no EGR.

Exactly. SLP is a legit company, they aren't selling knock off shit.

They probably just put the wrong picture, accuracy and customer service aren't exactly their strong points

I did not actually think they were pawning off ls1 intakes as ls6's. I just don't like slp that much and ws making a joke at their expense.

no that is def an LS6 manifold it has no bolt hole...looks like what theyve done is make a port for the EGR...lingenfelter also makes a kit i think it was like 50 bucks or something to make an LS6 an EGR manifold for emissions purposes

Yeah, the one in the pics, they sell for around 550.00$.It's for us guys with EGR(98,99,00).They say "no provisions" above that pix means it doesn't have the egr connection. They just have the same pix for both. Also note for the price they include the cooling tube you will need going from LS1 to LS6 and I think they include new gaskets.Thats why I can't figure out why people are paying 350.00 for used!!!!!

    P/n: 30041

They are showing the picture for P/N: 30041 which does have provisions. The brass fitting you are seeing comes along with compression washers. You cut your old EGR tube as per instructions and place the new brass fitting and compression washes for installing. Same manifold I installed on my 2000 Z28. I am sure it is a honest slip. The verision with EGR is slighty higher so the picture shown would be an extra good deal.

Slightly higher? The 30039(the one on sale now) is 370.75 and the one with EGR is 549.95.....Thats 180.00 difference!
Either one will work on a '99 but if you get the one on sale you will have to block off egr tube on exhaust and the SES light will come on and a code will be thrown.I've read at least a hundred posts of guys doing this without any ill effects and all are very happy with results.

    Shop around

SLP w/provisions $459.95 @ Imperformance.com and SLP w/o provisions $370.75 @ Slponline.com. $89.20 difference. Like everything else on the LS1 I need to shop around before buying. Actually I purchased mine off EBay new with provisions for around $350 to the door (can't remember the exact figure). Regardless they both will work and in hind sight probably would have gone with no provosion as cutting the stock EGR tube to fit is a bit iffy but muddled through it. Good luck

Thats a good price for the egr intake! I went to that site, but it seems to be a search engine. Can you be more specific on the final destination?Or maybe I got it wrong. It's" imperformance.com" right?
