    ls6 intake manifold coolant problem

    i have a 1998 trans am. i just installed the new weiland ls6 intake but no theres a problem. the old coolant line that went from the radiator thru the throttle body. the new TB doesnt have ha place for it. what do i do with the hose

    What kind of throttle body did you get?
    You can always do a TB bypass and run the line from the radiator straight to the coolant line on the driver side of the front of the intake.

    sounds like a easy fix
    you dont live in a climate where that kind of heat is needed to heat your fuel.
    tb bypass is the first thing i do when i get new ls based vehichle.

    +1 on the TB bypass mod, write-up on ls1howto. I had to do the same when I installed my NW tb.
    I just went to the hardware store and picked up a couple brass pieces (barbed on one end and threaded on the other) to go from the 5/16" to 1/4" to connect the two lines.

    i have 85mm nitrous express throttle body, and a ported and ploished weiand ls6 intake. thanks for all the help everyone
