LS6 Intake
i just bought the ls6 intake for my car ans was wondering if i should get it ported before i put it on. I can get it done for a good price and im curious though if it is worth it. Would it make a difference at all?

little diff. IMO, remember the LS6 is a far better intake than the stocker to begin with.

WITH A DREMEL TOOL AND A LITTLE JB WELD, FILL IN THE SLOT WITH JB AND SMOOTH OUT ALL THE RIDGES AND LINSE WITH THE DREMEL
DRILL HOLES BACK IN THE WELD AND THEN I SMOOTHED IT ALL BY HAND WITH SOME FINE SAND PAPER
I DIDNT REALLY POLISH IT NOT TO A MIRROR SHINE ANYWAY BUT IT IS SMOOTH AS HELL

I would port it while its off and if its cheap, no harm no foul. Also I WOULD port the TB, I noticed a massive diff with my TB ported. Every car is diff but the ported TB was the last mod I did and by the SOTP feeling, it seems like my car gained a SOLID 10 hp out of it. I did some runs before the TB and some runs after the TB and everyone that has ridden in my car has noticed a gain. But like I said, some cars respond to mods diff.
