Oh ya I am new to this all aluminum motor and I always installed head gaskets with nothing. I have read that there is a copper spray that is recommended but after looking at the gasket I really disagree with that .

A composite Head Gasket will work just fine as long as your not running boost. Also dont re-use your stock head bolts, pick up some new ones and ensure you bolt holes are clean and debris free... Copper Gaskets are awsome for nitro cars and High Hp cars...

some people put the intake gaskets on with silicone too...if you dont know already dont do that or youll be fixing an oil leak in 2 weeks i was told to put the gasket and silicone on my iroc motor and the silicone let the ubber flex and blow out...now i use silicone only
